The William and Mary High School Model United Nations Conference (WMHSMUN) is one of the principal organs of the International Relations Club and one of the premier high school MUN conferences in North America. Created in 1987, WMHSMUN serves to provide opportunities for high school students to learn and discuss topics relating to international relations. WMHSMUN provides valuable management and writing experience to our staff, who are put in charge of the various committees, professional background guides, and crisis simulations that the delegates must resolve.
WMHSMUN provides the most holistic Model UN experience imaginable with dozens of committees spread across the historic campus of the College. The collegiate atmosphere makes WMHSMUN the perfect location for developing both diplomatic abilities and a greater understanding of world affairs.
The Secretary-General for WMHSMUN XXVIII, to be hosted in November 2014, is Clayton Southerly.
